PRESS: Russian govt to discuss retirement age rise on Thursday
MOSCOW, May 17 (PRIME) -- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will hold a government meeting to discuss an increase of the retirement age on Thursday, business daily Kommersant reported, citing sources in the government.
The sources said that the new retirement age will be calculated on assumptions made by the Center for Strategic Research chaired by Alexei Kudrin, who earlier suggested raising it to 65 years for men and to 60 years for women from the current 60 and 55 years.
